WHAt does this really mean to Democrats?
For arguments sake, lets just say that these numbers hold up UPDATE 5-Sen. Lieberman trails in tight battle��Reuters.com and Lamont beats Lieberman by a 52 to 48 margin. The left-wing will be screaming a giant victory over the evil Bush supporter and a great referendum over the illegal Bush war in Iraq. But in reality it means absolutly nothing. Numbers this close mean that Lieberman will win re-election as an independent in November because the Man is a good democrat and Lamont has nothing to offer accept looney left retoric, which hasn't won an election since before 2000. You would think the left would learn after 2002 and 2004 that Viet Nam will not win elections in post 9/11 America.
